【Release Date Announcement】 Enzio-Ware releases in Early Access on 2/20/25!

Hello everyone! Today we bring great news! Enzio-Ware 2.0 will be launching in Early Access on February 20th! (Please note that this date relies on Valve approving our build in-time.)
Features in Enzio-Ware 2.0 Early Access
The game currently features the entire main story, with each character having between 5 and 10 microgames. The PLC-Dia is also still in the game. Additionally, the game features the revised home menu and customization features. Certain online features like accounts, password, and the shop are also implemented.
Enzio-Ware 2.0 features a new currency earned by playing microgames. Currently you can use this at the shop to buy new themes, tracks, skins, and buy multiples of treasures. Please note this is not a paid currency, you can only earn it by completing microgames.
The shop rotates daily and is manned by a new shopkeep each day. We are utilizing web features to hopefully update the game with new cosmetics regularly, without needing to update the game.
Why Early Access?
Enzio-Ware 2.0 will not be considered fully released until the game’s epilogue and updated cutscene systems are finished. We currently expect this to take some time, at the very latest into December of 2025.
As we paused updates on the original version of the game, we are currently sitting on a greatly improved and fully playable version of the game’s main story, and think it is everyone’s best interest to allow people to play it now.
We are also in crucial need of feedback on the game’s speed and microgame quality, something we got very little of on itch.io, even though the game has been available for several months.
We invite everyone to play the game, give feedback, and help us evolve the game in to something greater.
Special Items for Early Access

During early access we will also be offering the FREE Ambassador Certificate DLC! By installing it, you will be able to add a special icon to your Enzio-System’s home menu.
Launching the application will give you access to special benefits, currently this includes two skins and two themes, however it may increase in the future, even after the game launches!
When the game leaves early access, the Ambassador Certificate will be delisted, leaving only early access buyers able to redeem these cosmetics.
Please note that at least currently, there are currently no plans for paid DLC, aside from the game’s soundtrack.
Future Plans
Closer to launch we will be posting a roadmap. The current priorities are getting leaderboards programmed in, increasing the microgame count, and improving some microgames we still think need some work. Some of this may already be addressed in a day-one patch.
In general, the big milestones we are looking to hit are the improved cutscene system, and the game’s epilogue. Both of these are very asset heavy and will likely shape themselves based on player feedback to the game as it is currently.
There are several other minor things we have planned, but whether they are added in early-access or post-full release depends entirely on the timing of everything.
Please be aware that for the most part, all of us are students and we are developing Enzio-Ware in our free time. We are committed to making this game the best it can possibly be, it will just take a little more time.
FAQ
When will Enzio-Ware 2.0 launch?
Enzio-Ware 2.0 launches on Steam on 2/20/2025 unless there are any delays with Valve’s approval. You will also be able to buy the game on our online store on that date. Releasing on itch.io is currently up in the cards due to how we are handling the Ambassador Certificate.
Will Enzio-Ware 2.0 see a physical release
If the game is successful enough we will likely release a small batch of physical copies.
What is Enzio-Ware 2.0 priced at
Enzio-Ware 2.0 will be priced at $4.99 USD, with Valve handling the regional pricing. At launch the game will be 15% off, or about $4.24 (I have no clue what Steam will actually round this to)
The same exact discount will run on our online store.
The game’s price will be increased to at least $9.99 when it leaves early access, please be aware of this ahead of time. $9.99 was the intended price of the game from the beginning, however we do not think it is fair to charge that right now, and have lowered it to reflect the current state of the game.
What will happen to the original version of the game
For now we are only going to delist it in search and browse, but leave it up for download. That version of the game is riddled with issues, and especially as 2.0 may not launch on itch, we would rather not have people stumble upon it by chance.
We will give warning if we ever decide to truly delist it.
That version of the game will also not receive any updates
Will Enzio-Ware 2.0 come to other platforms.
Idk maybe. We eventually plan to support Linux and Mac OS, we just do not have the ability to test builds for it right now.
In terms of consoles, we have applied for dev kits on a couple platforms, but have not heard back. Most likely, we will likely not be able to get one unless the Steam release does well.
Until next time!
